Must play

Great intro for newcomers to the series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great RPG that is half the learning curve of xenoblade chronicles X on the Wii U and is just as big of a journey with lots of characters to befriend and use in battle. If you have played the last two games you'll be familiar with everything it throws at you for the most part with only a couple different changes to the leveling mechanics and combat. The only thing I dislike is they still have some mundane fetch quests that are a pain to get through but you DONT have to do them. That's probably the best part about this game is the ability to not have to worry about grinding unlike previous entries and be able to just play the game organically and still be able to fight what comes at you in the main story missions. You still have to understand the battle system but you don't have to over level just to win. They did add that whenever you complete side missions that the only way to add the exp from said missions is to sleep at an inn. Almost like FINAL FANTASY 15 except in 15 even defeating monsters in the field doesn't level you, here it does and it's only tied to the side missions. If you're looking for a great RPG pick this up. Worth the asking price!

Fun but complex
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphics are quite good especially if you like the anime style. At first the battle system seems too simple but you quickly learn that it's very complex, more so than it really needs to be. I recommend looking online as the in game tutorials don't explain it very well. It's also very long, at least 60 hours.

A lot of fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really loved xenoblade chronicles so I was very excited about the second one so I picked it up. I do not regret it and I think you won't either. I have really been enjoying this game.

Just as good as the first.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The story and characters have been engaging. It looks beautiful. The combat system at first seems simple but is deceptively complex, which is a good description for the game, in general. I’m already over 25 hours in, and I still haven’t unlocked all of the menu options. I also like the voice acting. Playing this game has made me want to play the first one again because I just like this series so much. I will note that I was not a fan of X.

JRPG at it best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just finished the game and had to give my quick thoughts. To preface, I only got 15 or so hours into XC1 and XCX before hanging up the towel. I just couldn't do it. They were fine, but just weren't my thing. This game has had me glued to the screen for just over 100 hours of play before I beat it and I loved almost every minute of it. The combat is deep, addictive, and extremely satisfying, especially when you finally pull off a big full burst chain attack that does like 2 million damage. I say the combat is deep, not complex, because with each new bit of new combat ability, it adds to the existing combat in a way that feels natural and progressive and is the best part of the game. The visuals are stunning and handheld mode honestly isn't bad at all. I quite liked the story (hate that people who haven't finished the game are rating the story), though it has some pitfalls in the execution in the form of voice acting syncing poorly with mouth movement sometimes and a lot of stereotypical anime tropes, but once you start experiencing the story for what it is you start dismissing or forgetting entirely about those. I haven't had this much fun with a JRPG since Persona 5 and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get lost in a beautiful world, a great story, and thrilling combat

Q: QuestionWhen will the Physical Version of this game be back in stock?

- A:Answer I am pretty sure it is not in production anymore. I am having a hard time finding it myself. Only place i have seen is ordering online through Gamestop

Q: QuestionWhy dose the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Collectors Edition give use the release date 12/1/17 but the regular Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition says Release Date: Not Yet Announced. why dose one say a release date the other don't.
Asked by neonrobin.
- A:Answer The release dates are not always set in stone. Sometimes they won't list a date at all, other times they will slap on a tentative date more as a placeholder of what year they think the game may release (something like the first or last day of a month). Even yet, other times just state something like 3rd quarter 2017 as the release date. All of the above mean they just don't have a solid date locked in yet. You can still pre-order, but don't be surprised if the release date changes.
